Harris tweed and Linocut handmade luxury Christmas cards

handmade christmas cards linocut and harris tweed from roses workshop

Every one of these handmade Christmas cards is unique.

They are made in collaboration with Peter Grant at the Hestan Isle Press. The front of the card features a three-colour linocut which has been hand-printed. The cut-out section has Harris tweed behind to make the bauble, with the card folded behind the fabric to make a neat finish. The inside has been left blank for your own message.

Each card is approx. 21 x 10cm, and is supplied in a protective bag complete with envelope.

About Harris Tweed®:
Harris tweed is a very special fabric; the world’s only commercially produced handwoven tweed.

"Handwoven by the islanders at their homes in the Outer Hebrides, finished in the Outer Hebrides, and made from pure virgin wool dyed and spun in the Outer Hebrides."

The Harris Tweed Act of 1993 ensures that all cloth certified with the Harris Tweed Orb symbol complies with this definition and is genuine Harris Tweed.
