Order acceptance and payment
This site uses "Paypal" secure system to accept payment. Even if you do not have a Paypal account you can still pay using your credit card using the "Guest" checkout. I will normally send you an email to confirm despatch of your order, either directly or via Paypal order tracking. In the unlikely event that I cannot fulfill your order I will let you know and refund your payment.
Thank you to all my lovely customers - many styles are out of stock. Please check the lead time at the top of each category page for made-to-order items.
Postage and Packaging
Postage is charged according to the total value of the shopping cart and is shown before you checkout.

- 20.00 - 49.99 £4.70
- 50.00 - 69.99 £6.50
- 70.00 - 99.99 £8.20
- 100.00 and over £11.00
I use Royal Mail signed for services as standard. For other services such as Special Delivery please contact me.
Each item is carefully wrapped in tissue except for lampshades and clocks which require more protective packaging. It is then put into a jiffy bag, postal bag, or box for shipping. Your parcel will normally be shipped within three working days from receipt of your cleared payment.
The customer is responsible for providing a complete, valid, current address. Parcels returned as undeliverable will need to pay for re-posting to corrected address.
I do ship to several countries outside the UK. For a default rate please select the appropriate item on the International Postage page: International Postage
Alternatively please message me using the "contact" form for postage rate to your country before placing your order.
All my items are made in and shipped from England. Please note that International buyers are responsible for any and all duties and customs charges that may be incurred.
I expect you to be delighted with your purchase. If for any reason you are not then please contact me immediately so we can put things right.
But if you should decide to cancel your order, stock items may be returned within fourteen days of receipt for any reason providing they are unused, with all labels attached and in original packaging.
Knit-to-order wool items are counted as stock items unless a custom size was requested.
Once the returned item has been received and checked I will refund the item price. Return postage costs are the responsibility of the buyer.
If the item was personalised or a custom order it is non-returnable, but if there is a problem please contact me and we can try to work out a solution.
