Masham wool cream and green beret

A beautiful stylish hat to keep you warm right through to springtime. Hand-knit pure British wool soft beret in cream and green.

I have used fabulously soft British Masham wool for this lovely ladies beret. Knit to my own design, with a subtle lace texture and two colours. As usual I have hand-knit using needles "in-the-round" so there are no ugly or uncomfortable seams. The sweet little "Roses Workshop" brand label is laser etched faux leather.

To fit average adult head size 55-61cm (21.5-24 inches) and slightly stretchy for comfort. Hand-washing is best to keep pure wool in top condition, but if your machine has a cool/ gentle/ wool setting then that works too! Never put wool into a tumble drier, as it will shrink and felt.

I love working with the many different wools produced here from British breeds of sheep. Masham sheep are medium sized and hornless, with very long and lustrous fleece. They have been bred for over a century in the north of England.
